Win
a Wandering in the Bush CD
The
Wandering in the Bush show is both fun and interactive and takes a
positive step towards an understanding of Aboriginal culture.
Welsh
born but Aussie loved Greg Hastings combines rich vocals, guitar and
didgeridoo, with an enchanting sense of humour. Greg performs his
owns songs where children are encouraged to join in with hand
actions to every song. Titles such as 'Walking in the Bush' and
'Bush Calls', take them on a journey of imagination back in time,
singing of the land and its animals.
Greg's
aim is to dispel the ignorance about our indigenous people and to
build bridges that will lead to a more harmonious existence between
indigenous and non-indigenous Australians.
Greg
has recently returned from a North West Tour and will be performing
the Wandering in the Bush Show daily at the Perth Royal Show 2-9
October, in Kiddyland 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
Greg
has recently launched his new C.D. of the 'Wandering in the Bush

Rockingham
Boat Hire
Treat
your kids to a day on a boat . What better way to spend a fantastic
day than on a boat in the Rockingham waters.
You could travel to Penguin or Seal Island, check out the
abundance of wildlife, teach the kids to fish, snorkel, or just
spend some quality time together.
Rockingham
Boat Hire takes all of the hassle out of treating your children to a
day on the water. Boats are hired out for a half day or a full day.
The boat will be delivered and put into the water at either Bent
Street Jetty in Safety Bay or the Palm Street Ramp in Rockingham and
taken out for you at the end of the day. You don't have to do
anything except get out on the water and enjoy your day.
As
well as the boats, you can also hire fishing rods for a very
reasonable price. Eskys are also available for hire so you can pick
up some fantastic food in Rockingham before you leave, or bring your
own.
Safety
is paramount and each boat comes equipped with all safety
requirements. An experienced person will take you through all you
need to know before you head out. The boats all have a Bimini cover
to protect against sunburn.
A
half day boat hire is $75 or take the boat all day for $125.
Rockingham
Boat Hire is a local family business and is open everyday from 8am
to 5pm. To arrange a boat for your next family day out contact Terry
or Sheila on 9592 8395 or mobile 0407446739.

Whaloo
is that you?
There
is a lot of laughter spilling out of the rehearsal rooms - the actors
are having a ball. Slippery Snakes - Lizards eggs, squawky bird and
old man mangrove will come alive for the first time, in a play called
Whaloo Is That You?
Performed
by talented indigenous actors, this play is highly engaging with its
outlandish and vibrant costumes, an original and quirky musical score
and uproarious characters.
The
themes of the three stories in this show vary from smart ways to
handle bullies, to the biodiversity in mangroves and a story about how
Whaloo the snake got his tongue after eating Goodamundoo the lizard's
eggs. Join us for performances during the school holidays from October
