A
story from
the heart
Imagine
two people finding each other, becoming the love of each other's lives
and shortly after discovering they could not naturally conceive a
family.
This
is their story.
Holly
(name changed) was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure at only 24
years of age. Her ovaries decided at some point to simply stop
working. Three years later her only option to have a family of her own
was to adopt, or use an egg donor.
Holly
and her husband chose the path of seeking an egg donor so they could
experience the beauty of carrying a child and developing that special
connection between mother and child that occurs in the womb.
Holly
and her husband are looking for a generous woman between 25-35 years
old to be their anonymous egg donor. They will cover the donorís
medical expenses.

you would like more information on giving an extraordinary gift to a
special couple, and to give them the chance to share in the joy of

Nappy
Cake winner
Debbie-Anne
Brandenburn nominated her sister-in-law, Susan Edwards.
Susan
suffered two miscarriages before she gave birth to Lachlan Michael
Edwards in ovember 2004. Some hours after giving birth by "C"
section, doctors found out that Lachlan was very ill.
His large & small intestines did not meet. He under went
surgery to correct the problem, at only 19 hours old. Susan was
separated from Lachlan for
three weeks.
Susan
should have been in bed resting after her caesarean surgery, but
desperate to see Lachlan, my brother Brad took Susan to see Lachlan at
PMH. Susan couldn' hold
Lachlan for long as he was connected to medical devices.
Susan then developed an infection in her incision and was put
on strong pain killers
At
present, Lachlan is a healthy baby and is pooping normally! Susan is
again pregnant and the problems have started again.
Susan is bed bound for the next eight weeks until her son is
born. As she is leaking
amniotic fluid and the doctors fear she may go into premature labour.
Our family and Susanís family have taken turns to look after
Lachlan while Susan gets much needed rest.
So
while Susan is trying to keep the bun in the oven for the next eight
weeks, I thought it would be nice if she won a prize for all her
efforts. She has taken
the hard and long road to parenthood, but she has always got a smile
on her face and is thankful for the precious gift of her son.
I fully believe Susan deserves a medal for all she has been
through, but most of all, I think she deserves it because she is a
great mum and friend.

a way of coping through such a terrible time and to help other mothers
who are going through similar losses.
A
year on Georgie Baby is thriving - a warm welcome will always greet
you and Susie and Shirley, and the new addition to the family
Daisy-May are always ready for a chat. There is a huge new range of
