Lots of fun at the RSPCA

Wondering what to do with the kids during the July School Holidays? Why not head along to the RSPCA where there are lots of fun activities to keep them entertained?

Children can learn about the animals around us, and how to better care for all creatures great and small.

Is your youngster between 11 and 16 and keen to work with animals? Sign them up for the Behind the Scenes program, where theyíll find out what itís like to work at the RSPCA and what happens behind the scenes at the RSPCAís newly named shelter Paws Central.

If youíre thinking about adding a four-legged friend to your family, then the RSPCAís Dog Sense course is a must. It teaches children about caring for a dog, what to feed it, how to properly groom it and some tips on safety.

Children with an interest in farm animals can roll up their sleeves and learn all about farm life by taking part in the On the Farm program. Children will explore how farm animals contribute to our everyday life and learn through storytelling and hands-on activities.

Activities are on offer for children from ages four to 16 from July 10 to 20. Bookings open 20 June.
