Infant massage training program
Stay-at-home
mum Trish Whannel had always found massage to be a good way to soothe
and bond with her children. After spotting an advertisement for formal
training she decided to apply in the hope of passing the secrets on to
other parents.
Trish
trained with the Infant Massage Information Service and now her own
business, Lullaby Baby Massage, has taken care of 350 babies.
ìItís
all about looking after people. Thatís my thing,î Trish says.
ìThe flexibility of my business allows parents to schedule solo or
group training sessions and itís rewarding when parents say their
baby is crying less.î
The
Infant Massage Information Service is running a three day intensive
training program at Royal Perth Hospital this November. Only 18 people
will be accepted to train and enrolments are taken on a first come
first served basis.
